Our project work covers a wide range of sectors, including, healthcare, education, leisure, residential, commercial, and public realm. As a growing business there will also be opportunities for career progression and CPD to match the drive and ambition of the successful candidate.
Due to our expanding project portfolio, we have an opportunity for a professional, motivated Landscape Architect to join the team in our Canterbury office. We are looking for an experienced individual to play a key role within the company, focusing primarily upon the planning stages of projects with an emphasis on masterplanning and landscape assessment work, including LVIA and EIA. The successful candidate will be confident in working to deadlines, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with other professionals. The role will involve client, design team and public engagement, so experience and confidence in communicating will be essential.
There will be a requirement to attend meetings and undertake site inspections throughout the country, but principally within south-east England. You will therefore be required to hold a valid UK driving licence.
About You: We are seeking a candidate who can bring the following experience and skills to our team:
• You will be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute,
• You will possess strong skills in LVIA/EIA processes and report writing,
• You will have a sound understanding of the UK town planning system,
• You will have extensive experience in project management, and capable of running a number of projects concurrently to tight deadlines and budgets.
• You will have good communication and client engagement skills
• You will have experience of supervising and organising work of junior / support staff.
• You will be skilled in the following:
o Microsoft Office
o Adobe Creative Suite.
o AutoCAD / KeyScape (desirable but not essential)
• You will have a valid UK Driving Licence
• You will be a UK resident or have a valid UK Working Visa
